Celebrate contributors and community members making a difference with their unique perspectives and personal style in honor of Black History Month.

The Recognize Series

In 2021, Dockers launched Recognize, a brand storytelling series dedicated to amplifying Black voices and investing in organizations bringing opportunities to Black communities. What started as a Black History Month campaign quickly became a years-long commitment to spotlighting Black voices on Dockers’ channels. 

The series features real people working to make real change, sharing their hopes, dreams and stories through videos, photos and long-form interviews on eComm. Read more here.

RECOGNIZE: SELEMA MASEKELA

In March, we Recognized the multi-faceted Selema Masekela—action sports icon, host, personality, musician and entrepreneur and explored his commitment to inspiring future generations.

RECOGNIZE: MARYSE PEARCE

In June , we Recognized Maryse Pearce, the Program Manager for Stonewall Community Foundation. A queer Black woman and native New Yorker, Maryse shared the work her organization does to protect and celebrate the city’s LGBTQIA+ community.
